David is the Founder of Ceres Tag and experienced in building businesses internationally. David has been involved with the agriculture industry all his life with a emphasis on livestock and meat processing. He also has extensive experience in infrastructure, energy and communications industries to bring to Ceres Tag. David has lived or worked in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, Central Asia, Americas, Former Soviet Union and Australia. David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors (FAICD) and has served on international and national company board of directors. David recognised the need for a holistic paddock to plate identification and management tag for livestock to create value for producers and quality to consumers and all stakeholders in between.
Mariano is an Industrial Engineer with a Masters of Energy Economics and Management. He has worked and studied in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Australia. He brings to the company over 15 years of experience providing analytical, commercial and financial advice to executive management in sectors as diverse as consumer staples, construction and oil & gas. Mariano has also been instrumental in the IPO of a former ASX 200 company. His main interest lies in the optimization of start-up projects and organizations through financial engineering, figuring out how to do things better, improve productivity and generate value. In his personal life he enjoys mountain biking, sea kayaking, sailing, rock climbing and travelling.
Melita is a Founder of Ceres Tag. Melita has extensive experience in agriculture with particular focus on meat and livestock industry, animal husbandry and holistic farming. Melita has a deep understanding of sustainable livestock production and maximising returns for producers in an environmentally friendly way to benefit the land and animals. Melita also understands and ensures that all stakeholders are considered when developing innovative products such as Ceres Tag and a keen educator of new and innovative systems.
